Whimsical Nail Polish by Pam: Peanut Butter and Jelly

Why hello lovelies! Hope you are all having a great new year. I myself am glad the pace is slowing back down a little bit (I work in retail). I found myself digging through some of my older polishes after a favorite indie Cult Nails announced she's closing up shop. I had just started this blog when she started up so this was very startling to me.
So this post isn't about any of her polishes, but I do have a haul on it's way (her remaining stock is 60% off!!! If you don't have Iconic you NEED it. I'll do a swatch of that later). It's actually about another lovely indie who came on the scene several years ago when I started this whole thing up: Whimsical Nail Polish by Pam. About three or four years ago, for my birthday, I bought her Peanut Butter and Jelly polish (it's a part of her core collection so very attainable). It's a luscious raspberry crelly with bright golden hex glitters and smaller golden glitters swimming in it. It's the perfect level of opaque for build-able layers that achieve the perfect "squishy" look. Just like, well, peanut butter and jelly. Ok, ok I'll stop typing and show it to you.

I have working mommy hands right now complete with nubbins so you'll have to excuse those. I think this looks amazing on slightly longer nails, but I just had to share it. You know how it is. This is two layers with top coat. It doesn't actually need top coat, but I'm a fanatic.

Now obtaining a bottle of this is different then the shopping you are used to. She makes all polishes to order and only does business through Facebook by email and invoicing on Paypal. Not the easiest, but WELL worth it. I'm planning to do an order later this month for some of her other pretties I've been eying for some time.

  1. Such a pretty jelly color that is! The name of it makes me crave peanut butter and jelly too.
