I went slummin' at Rite Aid this past weekend...

...and it was GLORIOUS! Seriously the title is light hearted but I am so saddened that I've reached a point in my polish ways where I rarely take trips to places like Rite Aid and Walgreens to peep on polish collections. Drugstore polishes are insanely amazing and wonderfully gorgeous! Especially since drugstore now involves most any polish. What I wanted so badly was the Julie G Gumdrops. They didn't have them BUT they did have the core Julie G collection finally and I FINALLY scored my Julep Hayden dupe of Julie G 9 to 5. I.am.so.freaking.happy. Thank you so much Steph at Imperfectly Painted for the post and response on a good dupe! Comparison post methinks....?

Anyways here's the best part. I spent a little over 22 bucks total and scored all of this:

A new bottle of Sally Hansen Triple Strong (my base coat of choice for almost two years now), Sally Hansen Cuticle Remover (there was a B1G1 half off), Wet N' Wild Penny For Your Thoughts, L.A. Girls 3D Effects Electric Coral, JulieG 9 to 5, and Sinful Colors In The Spotlight (which, honestly, looks like a Wet N' Wild Coloricon knock off).

All of the above are over one coat of China Glaze Peachy Keen. The L.A. Girl has an insane holo glass fleck sheen I couldn't seem to get. Gotta love Oregon weather! Have you hit a drug store recently? What fun finds came home with you?

Nail Mail: My first swap!

Over at PaA I posted about an OPI I acquired over the holidays thinking it was new (turns out it was used) BUT it's a rarer DS - #012. I didn't see much demand for it so I didn't think it'd be wanted. I was happily mistaken! Sarah of Lucky Lacquers (check out Lucky Lacquers on Facebook!) is collecting the whole series and was missing that one. Here's what she sent me in exchange:

We agreed on the Nfu-Oh #51 and Essence Blue Addicted and she sent the lotion and some candies as extras! Such a lovely package!

Mmmm the chocolate was so good and that lotion....WOW!! It's now my favorite lotion and I have plans to acquire a full sized bottle of it.

I can't WAIT to do my nails with these lovelies!!!

Epic nail haul/mail and my apologies

So much to say! WOW what a weekend - epic nail mail. I did the Zoya BOGO4 and score Zoya Midori (and Zoya Noel for my recent giveaway winner - my first outgoing nail mail!). But when the package arrived it was, alas, missing Midori! However they got it sent out right away and it arrived last Friday. Happy day. But wait - there's more!! Saturday arrives and delivers a Julep package containing the Colombus Day special (Alfre and a 1 oz. bottle of Glow On) and Stefani.

THEN my girlie over at Constantly Redone shows up with a gift of adoration: The Back to Boho Color Club collection and a Maurice nail polish (unnamed but oh so gorgeous rosey-copper color) - and today she comes over with Revelon Facets of Fuschia and some of those super cool nail polish remover pads (in pear scent). Oh and I snapped up a Sally Hansen Inst-Dri I'd been dying to get my hands on.

The apology is for skimping on posts - I'm on a no buy status AND prepping for a women's retreat wher I'll be hosting a nail workshop. I have all this amazingness and so very much more coming up. Really a very happy, exciting time!!
