Hubby's Picks (HP26) Still catching up....

So here is this week's Hubby's Picks. He was soooo sure he had me this time. Oh when will he learn ;)

BAM! Right! So here's the order line up: Essence It's a Peach Not a Cherry, stamped with Konad stamping polish in red, then OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook, and lastly Wet N' Wild Burgundy Frost. That last one was the one he was SURE was going to trip me up.

• So first I did two coat of Essence It's a Peach Not a Cherry to get it nice and opaque.
• Next I stamped that super amazing fiery flower design from the second Bundle Monster set (plate BM-205). Once dry I did a layer of Seche Vite. That part is super important for the next step.
• Then I used circle labels (0.625 diameter), cut them in half and laid them down semi-circle towards the cuticle and then painted a thicker layer of OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook. I IMMEDIATELY pulled the sticked up revealing the stamping beneath. The middle finger I waited a hair too long and the circle didn't come out perfect. If you didn't use Seche Vite there's a good chance the sticker will pull the layer beneath back up. Just ask how I know this.
• Last I went back and did some tiny dots with my smallest dotting tool in the Wet N' Wild Burgundy frost, waited for that to dry, then topped the whole thing off with Seche Vite.

Affordable Fall Pick: Wet N' Wild Burgundy Frost

So it's Fall apparently. This weekend plans to transition smoothly here from a nice low 70's with sun on Thursday to a high of 59 with showers on Friday. Nice one Oregon. At any rate I was digging through my polishes and came across Wet N' Wild Burgundy Frost and was captured in it's gorgeously deep berry toned beauty with gold shimmery swirls. Sadly the depth comes from the gold shimmers so the gold doesn't translate well to the nail, but it's still a fab Fall shade for the budget conscious nail fashionsta.

To bring out and complement the golden shimmers I paired this with Julep Sienna - by far my most favorite Julep shade. Let's go in for a close up on Burgundy Frost:

Something about this shade is just captivating to me. It's super easy to apply and above is just two coats although you could get away with one coat and at a normal price tag of 0.99 cents how can you go wrong?
