This is one that came in my spring surprise swap and was so excited to see it! It's a really unique polish by an indie company called Pretty and Polished. It's called bubble tea which I had no idea what that is and thought this looked more like a kiwi. After the almighty wikipedia told me what it is I think I want to try it though!
A milky lime green base with micro-glitter in silver and medium hex black glitter make this indie polish SUPER unique. Insanely fast dry time and super smooth application my only issue was having to work a little with the glitter....which DOES settle to the bottom of the bottle. BUT turning the bottle upside down for a minute of two redistributes them nicely.
Here's a close up and, as you can see, it's a natural jelly sandwich polish! It does take three coats to make it opaque so I tried it over a two greens and I also mattified it which looked AWESOME.
From left to right we have the polish done in three coats with a regular top coat, then three coats of polish with matte topcoat, then a single coat over Essie Navigate Her, and last a single coat of a coat of Orly Green Apple. I think my favorite was the one over Essie.
Last but certainly not least is hubby's picks for this week:
To help him make this a challenge I opened up the nail art box. He picked the fruit fimo slices....hrmmm. Interesting. The polishes he chose are Julep Selena, OPI Love Is A Racket, Julep Oscar, and Julep Zoe. I already have an idea!
It does look like a kiwi! Speaking of fruit, your hubby's picks scream papaya to me. :)

ReplyDeleteIt's quite fun isn't but I'm not sure she makes it anymore. If you add her on Facebook you can message her and see if she can stock it.
