At the pumpkin patch

Little man is in preschool now. This is a big step for both him and I - he's the last birdie in the nest who wasn't in school. In other words he's the baby.

So now I am the mommy of school kids, and one of the traditions for preschools is the annual pumpkin patch visit. This is the last one for me (as a school visit - we go as a family too). I did pumpkin nails for the occasion! They aren't the most amazing nails I've ever done but the kids LOVED them.

We'll call them artistic. Despite the nail art flaws I got massive amounts of compliments on them.

Here's me and my last baby *sniffle, sniffle* and I on the hay ride.

I know it's not nail polish related, but this is my little buddy!

He's on the tractor, "Patching the pumpkins mom. It's dangerous!" They are so amazing! A LOT of work, but so very worth every bit of worry, stress, tears, and frustration. <3

There's so much more I want to write, but it's these sorts of moments that make me so happy and so sad to be a mommy. He's my last and each mile mark is that last one I get to do...until grandbabies some day that is :)
