A visit with Liesl and a giveaway!

My nails are nubbins at the moment which is sad since the Rainbow Honey March Mystery box landed in my mailbox yesterday. I may still swatch and put those lovelies up tomorrow...we'll see.

Also I'm sick AGAIN! Actually it's been on and off again for weeks now. So I'm pulling a past manicure (you may have seen it on my Instagram @mommydoeshernails already). It was inspired by this manicure by Nail Polish Wars.

I used Zoya Neely, like she did, for my base, but use Zoya Vespa for the top instead of London (I still don't have London). The thumb is two layers of OPI Servin' Up Sparkles from the Serena Williams duos.
I wore this pretty manicure to go see Liesl on one of our coffee dates. I got to see her new nail shape in person and was just floored by how her classic beauty is all encompassing. She pulls off points as flawlessly as she pulls off red lips. She's just amazing!

Speaking of amazing you NEED to hop over to her BLOG to enter her two year blogiversary giveaway! I felt incredibly honored when she asked if I would be a part of it. The best part? It's open internationally! Here's a breakdown of the goods:

*This giveaway is open internationally.  There will be two winners-- one will get a $25 USD gift certificate to Color4Nails and one will get a $25 USD gift certificate to Cult Nails.  The winners will be emailed and given 48 hours to respond.  If they do not respond within the allotted time, a new winner will be drawn.  Once the winners have been determined and have made contact, I will email each one $25 gift certificate; the first name drawn will get his or her choice; the second name drawn will get the other, unless the first fails to respond in the allotted time, in which event the second name gets to choose and I will draw another name for the other gift certificate.  It is each entrant's responsibility to provide me with an accurate, current, working email address.  I am not responsible for entry typing errors.  I reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who is drawn and has not completed all mandatory entries.*

    1. I'm a huge fan too - there's some nail art techniques I've tried that are a hassle to do where the pay out doesn't feel worth it, but this totally does.
