Two Toned: My hubby picked Trophy Wife

So I decided to do another two-toned manicure since it was so popular the first time around. I mis-stamped on one of my nails, which is a shame, since this manicure is, hand's down, one of my faves (can we say comma overload there???). Anyhow, as I was taking off the 1up mani the other night I asked my hubby what he'd like to see on my nails. He knows my polishes so, without even rummaging, he says, "That one orange and that incredibly shiny turquoise blue color." I knew instantly he meant Zoya Jancyn and Essie Trophy Wife. I've swatched both of these so this is a, "Oooh shiny" manicure:
Zoya Jancyn on bottom and Essie Trophy Wife on top (if you do not own this nail polish I HIGHLY recommend you do. Click here to see my review on this gem). I simply stamped the opposite colors on each other. The mis-stamp was my inability to remember that Bundle Monster full nail designs are SMALL - tip to get around this issue is to stamp them sideways which is what I did for the rest of my nails - works amazingly!

Today the kiddos are begging to go to school. Mind you they are all first grade and below....oh if only I knew the enthusiasm would last.

Essie Trophy Wife and lack of wit to make an awesome title

This morning I can.not.seem.to.wake.up.....seriously and now the 2 year-old is bashing me with a foot stool because I told him no to more cereal after he threw his all over the floor. I see a time out in someone's future....anyhow I have FINALLY gotten to try an Essie and I'm IN LOVE! Super smooth application, incredible jewel toned color, and incredibly fast-drying (just wish it was more pigmented but it's a sheer, shimmer and that seems to be how those ones are).
This shows how smooth the color is. No pulling, no gunking - just smooth and rich. Vibrant and slightly metallic with an even shimmer. A new favorite!
I really should have done a fourth coat, but I hate going past two though with this formula you can get away with it.
With flash so you can see the shimmer in it. Also this is closer to the real color. Wonderful color, wonderful application. I have zero complaints on this one!

Enabler Hauls' 4 and 5 combined: instant bad day fix!

So, in case you haven't figured it out, Constantly Redone is a really great friend of mine and she understands the true secret to making a day all better for us women: nail polish and chocolate! So here's the last two hauls combined:
So she calls me yesterday and needs place to run away to while they redo the parking lot outside her apartment and I am ecstatic because I need a pick me up. She shows up and I pull out my box that contains my base coats, top coats, plates, and tools only to find the toddler has unscrewed every cap ever so slightly and then left them in there.....to slowly spill out.....overnight......into one gigantic mess of my beloved staples. So I resolve myself to the fact that I'm stuck without base and topcoat till next month (things are a tad tight at the moment) and try super hard not to curl up into the fetal position and sob myself to sleep. What does she do? Run to the store and return with top coat, base coat, and that gorgeous Essie (Trophy Wife). Happiest.Day.All.Summer!!!!! I *heart* you Constantly Undone!

P.S. The Thank You chocolate by Dove are amazing! Oh and they have convenient room at the top of the box to hide base coat and top coat in....you'll never guess where I found mine *grins*
