Why do I keep picking gradients? Because he keeps picking the same polishes! This was a bit different though as I did a gradient with two of the colors instead of one down into another. I saw this super cool idea over at Colour Your Life (only her's turned out FAR more amazing).
The base is Love & Beauty Seafoam, then Maurice Copper, then Julep Oscar, and a sponge down of China Glaze Lubu Heels.
I feel pretty meh about this one and promise to get really crazy with next week's.
Hope you are all having a super great weekend!!

Hubby's Picks (4): Fruit Salad with Celebrities
Me and my wonky titles! First and foremost I apologize for not posting this on Saturday. I had the mani done on Friday but had a back injury that had me immobile for the entire weekend! What did I do? No clue! Just pain built up on Thursday and by Saturday I couldn't even move. BUT I am back out of bed and moving again! Thankfully cause I was about to loose it. So here it is:
Yeah my first try turned out...clunky and odd. Especially since I was all excited when I finally figured out how to put OPI Love is a Racket with Julep Zoe by sponging:
It looked so blingy and glammy and with the choices he picked (OPI Love is a Racket which is a Serena Williams line polish, Julep Oscar from the Oscars collection, Julep Selena which reminds of Selena Gomez, and Julep Zoe....don't have one for that). Celebrity made sense! But he had the nail art to pick out of so with the fruits added you get my title :)
Thumb looks even more funky - I was going for a vine look. So I tried again on the other hand and it was a winner!!!
Much better!
Strawberries and bananas anyone? Until next time!

Julep March 'IT' Girl with a guest appearance by Oscar
So Spring collections usually bring a plethora of pastels, creams, and sweet colors. Julep steps to it's own beat apparently starting with the neon colors in January, the jewels and glitter last month, and the odd mixture starring effects colors designed to pair with others that are sort of a mish mesh of whatever seemed cool at the moment. That being said I LOVED March's box.
There was a bonus nail file that said Julep.com on it, but it wasn't anything special. The whole ordeal was tied together with a pretty bit of ribbon. Nice touch per usual Julep :)
My gal over at Constantly Redone scored Oscar in her February box and decided that gold glitter just wasn't her thing. So I decided a guest appearance was in order.
So I laid down the incredibly creamy and most spring-like color Charlotte. A nice lavender with no shimmer as seen in it's one coat glory on my middle finger there. Accent finger is in Jodie and stamped with Charlotte to see if she stamps. As you can see she does. The pointer finger is of most interest featuring the effects polish named Melissa. A pearly, white with blue shift it masks and blends with the color beneath it. Nothing overly new here but super gorgeous!
Same idea over here only reversed. I think the most unique combination of the box is Melissa over Jodie as seen on the ring finger - it looks super amazing and so different from it being over Charlotte. I think to get the most out of this one putting it over something contrasting is the best. I need to see it over black though...
At any rate a fun mix of colors that are pretty different from the other colors being released. And with so many companies copying each other this is refreshing :)
