Happy First day of Jewel Toned Fall!!

Hey all - I'm a post junkie this week ;) I did a special manicure in celebration of Fall - my favorite time of year! Something about the air, turning leaves, and gearing up for holiday baking just makes me so happy. No post summer blues for this nail-lovin'gal:
What you are looking at is a combination of the new and the old. Fall feels this way to me. Old memories and traditions and opportunities to create new ones. It's blissful really. Especially when you become a mommy because you get the see the magic happen for your sweet babies. My 2 year-old found an acorn yesterday and you should have seen him light up!

The green is Rags to Riches by Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro (in case you missed it I FREAKIN' LOVE THIS BRAND!) and the nude is Essence Irreplaceable. Both are gorgeous on their own, but combined with Fall goodness they are breath-taking. It's been a long time since I've had a manicure I didn't want to take off. Want to see the glitter goodness?
The designs come from two of the first Bundle Monster set. For some reason so beyond me I still don't have the new set :( BUT that's ok because, as you can see, the first set has the makings for a lovely manicure. Plate BM 04 and BM 05. I stamped with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Green With Envy for the grass tuft on the tips and Sinful Colors Nirvana for the grass tuft on the nude nail base. I used Zoya Jancyn and SC Nirvana for the Fall leaves - I brushed 2/3 of the image with Jancyn and the remainder with Nirvana and scraped slightly diagonally and down. The leaf on the accent finger is Sinful Colors Sugar Sugar. In closing HAPPY FALL!!!

Stamp it out: Electric Pineapple

So I tried out that nervous color Electric Pineapple by China Glaze (see Enabler Haul the Third). Gotta say it's actually a rather nice color and will probably be a favorite in fall. More yellow then green (which is a difficult color to wear for me) it took three, thin coats to get a nice application:

So I went ahead and topped some of my fingers with Sally Hansen Crackle in Vintage Violet - pretty yummy right? But I wanted to stamp a bit so I thought I'd see how four different brands in creams stamped out. The contenders:
EDIT: I am posting the colors above the pictures they are shown stamped in from top to bottom. Thanks KB for helping me out and letting me know - that was sure confusing!
1. NYC Black Lace Creme: this black has a serious brown (instead of blue) base to it and faired pretty well. Didn't do fabulous, but I'll try it again.
2. Zoya Marley: Fantastic pastel purple but boy she just did not want to pick up. In the end she barely stamped and barely showed up. I'll give her another chance but she failed big time this round.
3. Sinful Colors Nirvana: This was the WINNER and this combination will probably a fall fave. The colors look so nice together and this polish stamps out beautifully and easily.
4. Wet N' Wild Bird Bath: This nail polish stole my heart with it's incredible gorgeous robin's egg blue, but that's where it stopped. Pretty much a fail in all ways it failed here too. Will try stamping it one more time, but I think this nail polish will have to leave my collection....so sad.
The plate used is from Bundle Monster (their first collection that doesn't cover the nail very well) - bm21.
