Rock it like it's 1999!

So remember the enabler haul? Pink glitter takes me back to Pink and other late 90's pop icons, but you have to add black to the mix. I hadn't tried out my NYC Black Lace Creme yet so what better time right? But then I get my hands on another metal from the new China Glaze Metals collection - Haute Metal. Oh...wow! It's rock, it's glam, and it's 1999. HEART!!!!!First the stars of the show:
Left to right: China Glaze Crackle Haute Metal, NYC Black Lace Creme, OPI Teenage Dream. Lets start with the base: NYC Black Lace Creme has a brown base so it does not have a blue sheen to it at all. Take two generous coats or three thin coats to achieve full opaqueness. Great, creamy color, but I'm still craving Raven by Zoya. Lets go in for a close up:

I realized I hadn't stamped in awhile due to my crackle craze. The stars are BM20 from the first Bundle Monster set. Since their full nail designs from that set don't cover my whole thumbnail and I really needed a quick manicure solution crackle filled in quite nicely. Only having to stamp four nails is a nice way to have a great design with super quick results. The mommy in me says heck yes!! Stamped with Sally Hansen White Out (and it stamps as nicely as the tiny, special Konad polish for a fraction of the price!).
You can see the glitter of the gorgeous metal and glitter in this one although it still doesn't touch the gorgeous glam of this mani in person. You should really just try it for yourself.
And for today's random mommy moment: cheese!

  1. Looove! Btw, today seems like the kind of day where glass would be base. You've been warned.
