A jewel toned comparison of Zoya Channing and Sonia Kashuk Two Cent

So Fall has arrived! Summer has ended! This is what the first day of school has become to me. The signal for all things fall. Also all things pumpkin. Mmmm...

So this past weekend I went out to lunch with Liesl from Liesl Loves Pretty Things (Check out her swatches of Zoya's Cashmeres!). After that we went out to snoop for polishes and the nice gal at Ulta brought out the Zoya Fall Collection and I had to have Channing. I had no choice. You know how it is.

Next stop was Target and as we walk past the Sonia Kashuk display I spy a polish that *might* be a Channing dupe! It's call Two Cent. But as soon as I pick it up both Liesl and I know it's not. BUT it seems to have a simliar tone, at least in the bottle, so I figure why not.

Well I was totally off and I am thrilled I was! Both are luscious fall jewel tones, but Channing is a fiery copper and Two Cent is a golden flecked copper. Both.are.essential. Observe:

You can see right off they just aren't dupes. No trust me though - you need them both.

BAM! In your face, jewel-tone, fall goodness of glorious metallic hues. The GREAT news? Both have fantastic formulas. This is two coats of each in direct sunlight with no top coat. Doesn't that shimmer make you swoon?

Here they are in indirect sunlight. Such spirited polishes aren't they? Which one is your favorite? Or are you like me and just can't bear to pick a favorite?

Happy end of summer and beginning of fall!

  3. Both are awesome, though I just love Channing! It's the exact shade that I never knew I was looking for, if that makes sense? Lol. :)

    1. You are totally welcome! I don't have Zoya Amy, but I am putting in an order so I'll put it on my list to get and I'll get a comparison up (it'll be a few weeks).
