Incoco 2014 Valentine's Day Collection: Sweet Surprise (part 2)

Yesterday I posted the glitter sets from Incoco's Valentine's Day collection and today is the cremes. If you didn't get a chance to see the glitters be sure to check out that post.

First up is my favorite of the three cremes, Made with Love. It's a gradient spun sugar manicure. How pretty is this???

That gloss is not topcoat. That's the strips all on their own.

The second favorite of the cremes was Yours Truly. Just a sweet pink with French sayings. It doesn't get any more romantic then that.

I wish I could read French. I have a base in the romance languages so I recognize "favorite" and "love", but that's it. It's probably time to pick up a new language.

Last, but not least, is Love Spell. Another precious pink base with hearts and bows.

My issue came in that the bows were high up in the design so they didn't show on any of my fingers. Other then that this is seriously the cutest one out of the collection.

There you have the entire 2014 Incoco Valentine's Day collection available for order beginning January 14th. At 8.99 a pack and about 20 minutes of time investment you just can't get a prettier, more cost-effective, or quick Valentine's Day manicure solution.

I was super pleased to find an Incoco package in my mailbox for review. I literally squee'd when I opened it up and the sweet pink and glittery strips spilled from the package. I didn't think they could top the 2013 Halloween collection but they did!

These strips are an all in one solution that go on beautifully. I start by lining the strip up with my cuticle line, smooth down the center and then out to the sides to get a good fit. I can put an entire manicure on in about fifteen minutes. To see the wear of these over a week check out my review from last year of the French Manicure set.

In part one I'm going to go ahead and cover the two glitter sets. Tomorrow part two will have the creme sets. Hold onto your hearts. You are about to fall in love.

First up is the Sweet Suprise set. A super sweet pink, with microsilver glitters and perfectly even square holographic glitters and rainbow colored bar glitters. It's a glitter dream come true!

It's just so perfect!

This next set is called double date and is a glittery wave design of silver and fuschia with hearts and bits of holographic flecks. It was my least favorite. Until I put them on.

Look at that holographic hint glittering here and there. These are super pretty!

These are available beginning January 14th through Incoco's website and at retailers that carry the brand and they retail for 8.99 a set.

Incoco Nail Strips Review: Halloween 2013 Collection part 2

If you saw my blog yesterday you'll know that today features the second part of the Incoco 2013 Halloween Fright Night nail strips collection which will be available on their site on October 2nd. Yesterday was glitter strips so be sure to check those out. Today is the glow in the dark portion of the collection. These are an all in one solution so there is no base coat or top coat added to any of the following manicures.

First up is Bone Rattling. The glow in the dark aspect of these is intense, and I kept one on as an accent to wear for a few days to see how it holds up long term. I'll have an update on that in a few days. For now just know that exposure to natural light starts activating these instantly.

The next set is called Spooktacular. The ghost faces are super cute!

Incoco Nail Strips Review: Halloween 2013 Collection part 1

Well imagine my surprise when I got a letter from Incoco in the mail. I had done a review for them back in the spring which I LOVED! If you haven't tried their french tip designs you need to.

Going back to the surprise. I open up the letter to find four packages of Halloween nail strip designs! *SQUEAL* Not only are these strips insanely easy to apply, they wear super well. The Halloween 2013 Fright Night Collection features two of two design types: glitter and glow in the dark which will be available on their site on October 2. These are an all in one solution so there is no base coat or top coat added to any of the following manicures.

This is called After Dark and is a glittery gradient that goes from orange to a burgundy tinged brown. Came right off with acetone. Also should be noted that this one was my favorite.

Next is Fright Night. I LOVE the spooky details here. Look at the hand coming out of the ground on the middle finger! The glittery orange on this one matches the glittery orange on the tip of After Dark.

These are such amazing strips - seriously - you DO need them in your life and at 8.99 a pack that could easily do two manicures and have some accent nail strips for nail length of mine or one manicure with several left for accent nails. Incoco Pedicure Nail Strips Review

Here's another of the products that Incoco sent me: pedicure strips! I'm so used to cutting my nail shields down to fit that this was a very pleasant surprise.

This kit is different from the French Manicure kit I posted about. It was an entire pedicure in a package. It contained two sets of strips, a package of nail polish remover pads, a file which doubled as a buffer, and a cuticle pusher. Impressive!

As you can see no bubbles, tears, or rips. This the day before my trip. I was gone for a week.

After. No visible wear and the only proof it's a week later is the growth gap. These strips were awesome! No top coat or base coat REALLY made me nervous especially since I knew I was going to be in sandals the entire time. But They work great!

The strips are super easy to apply. Like I said in my other review the key is to select a size you might think will be a little large and use the enclosed cuticle stick to tuck the edges down to the sides for a really nice fit. If it's a little too large guess what? It's REAL nail polish and you can clean up just like you would with a polish job. I didn't have to though.

Incoco French Manicure review

I am all about being 100% honest so when I say I was hesitant when I got the email from Incoco about doing a review I mean it. I've seen other reviews with crinkly strips and didn't want this to go sour. But I took the plunge and oh my goodness am I glad I did!

So I got my package from them a day before I went on vacation. Perfect! I got to test these out for the entire week I was gone (I packed NO polish except the gifts for my sisters - that's how serious I was about leaving these on to test them).

Above is the French Manicure by Incoco. I wasn't sure what to expect so when I pulled the two sets of strips out I was a little bit surprised. It instructs to apply the white tip first, file off the excess, then top with the french color, and file the excess off. No base coat or top coat needed. That last bit made me twitch a little, but I did it anyhow.

READ THIS TIP!!! Where I think others have gone wrong is picking ones that looked like they may fit, but ending up with gaps and trying to stretch it to make it fit. Pick the next size up and tuck the strip down along your nail bed using an orange stick for a perfect fit. No stretching needed or frustration at putting one too small on.

You should get a nice fit like below with almost no effort. I've gone super close so you can see I'm not making this up.

ACK! Stained nail! But I wanted you to see how nicely the french colored strip blends out the stains to not even noticeable. I was stunned at the results.

Went in close here so you can see the gap from the growth.

You can see from the above image I had one little piece come off. I nicked it trying to open a can of soda. There was tip wear but shockingly little. No other cracks or tears.

The packaging boasts 14 days of wear with little issues and I am inclined to believe it. I am hard on my nails. These were the PERFECT vacation nail strips.
